Left: road to the farm

The two-bed roomed guest house is built with natural stone found on the farm and is completely secluded from the rest of the farm’s activities by 800m of veld and trees. It is built on a hill with splendid views on the area and on the river.

The farm boasts a 2km river frontage. The river springs on the farm and both banks are on the farm- hence no pollution or territorial problems..

Further downstream there are 4 weirs, of which one is in disrepair. The uppermost weir has self-spawning trout.

The main house still has original walls and is the classic 3 roomed structure as built in the early 1900’s. The adjoining structure has been partially rebuilt and together can be renovated to form a house covering 300m2
This house has to be restored
. The smaller house  is recently built in natural stone, has under floor heating and
 insulated ceiling.
It has a large bedroom with bathroom en-suite, a large lounge and kitchen.
The veranda is large at 35m2  and high-ceilinged to permit the maximum of light. The entire stone structure is designed with the maximum use of natural light in mind. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with lots of flowers and fruit trees like: green fig, apple, pear, grapes, citrus, walnut, peach apricot,  plum, quince, pomme granate,  mulberry.
There’s also a vegetable garden next to the house

There is a large quadruple garage , which has been recently built- also drawn up in natural stone, and a smaller building which houses the tannery.

The farm has 1 borehole for which is no need to use because the farm gets its own filtered spring water which is under gravitation. The spring gives the farm 4000 liters an hour without any use of  an engine or electricity.
121 bird species are cataloged and lots of wildlife roam freely on the farm.
Indigenous plants like proteas and fern trees.
